Tamara is also a mentor for girls at the Henry Wade Juvenile Detention Center and the Letot Center of Dallas Texas, has served as a member of Toastmasters International (an internationally recognized public speaking and leadership organization), and was president of Covenant Voices Toastmasters' Club in Carrollton Texas.

Continuing, Tamara has 6 years of experience working with special education, behavior programs, and at-risk populations in the school districts ranging from early childhood to 12th grade. She focuses on behavior management and modification for children and adolescents with emotional and behavior disorders (EBD) as well as working with those that have learning gaps and learning disabilities (LD). In addition to this company, she continues to work in public education serving the special education and at-risk populations.

As a behavior interventionist and educational psychology coach and consultant, Tamara strives to modify and eliminate negative, disruptive, and harmful behaviors and replace them with productive behaviors so that children and adolescents reach behavior and academic success. To increase the effectiveness of the interventions and strategies, she works with teachers and parents in addition to working with the child or adolescent. She encourages a collaborative team effort in order to reach children and adolescents.

Coaching, consulting, teaching, speaking, and writing has heightened her awareness, passion, and determination to empower people to reach their greatness. By empowering people towards change in behaviors, education, and emotions they then empower others toward change in pursuit of greatness. This then promotes a movement of change to improve the functions and operations of schools, families, and communities.
